What is Covered

Your pitching machine will be covered for all manufacturer's defects, parts and labor for the period of time of the extended warranty you purchased, which takes effect immediately after the manufacturer's warranty has expired.

Everything covered by the manufacturer's warranty is also covered by the CPS extended warranty and all exclusions stated in the manufacturer's warranty are also excluded in the CPS warranty. Please see the manufacturer's original warranty for what is and what isn't covered.

What is NOT Covered

Like the manufacturer's warranties, this warranty does not cover normal maintenance or wear and tear items such as the tire treads, fuses or lubricants. It does not cover repairs to pitching machines that have been altered, abused, left out in the rain or snow or operated in a way that is not in accordance with the manufacturer's policies and operating instructions.

CPS warranties DO NOT cover lost items, stolen items, accidental damage or damage resulting from Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service] or other matters beyond the manufacturer's reasonable control.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay for shipping to the authorized CPS repair location and to pay for shipping back from that repair location to them.

CPS Warranty FAQs

Do I need to register my warranty?

Yes, we recommend registering your plan within 30 days of your invoice date. To register your plan, follow the simple instructions here or, to speak with a CPS representative, please call (800) 905-0443.

Do I need to provide proof of purchase?

Yes. In order to file a claim, we require that a copy of your item’s original invoice/receipt of sale (showing the date and value) be on file with us. You can upload your invoice to your account at any time.

When does my extended coverage start?

Your coverage starts immediately after the manufacturer's warranty period ends. You must contact the manufacturer for any repairs or service that is needed before the manufacturer's warranty expires.

What should I do if I need service?

CPS offers an easy to use interactive form online which you may use to request that we initiate a claim on your product. Your other alternative is to call the toll-free number (800) 905- 0443 and have a qualified representative make this request for you with the information you will provide. We believe that the CPS claim initiation request process is the absolute best the warranty industry has to offer. It is designed for simplicity and speed.

Can I transfer my service plan to another person?

Yes, all plans are transferable. Please email [email protected] or call (800) 905-0443 for further assistance in transferring your plan. Please note: A transfer fee of $25.00 will apply to all warranty transfers.

Will I have to pay a deductible or any other "hidden costs"?

No. The CPS warranties on pitching machines do no have any deductible. You will be responsible for shipping charges both ways. If the damage to your machine is deemed to not be covered by your original warranty, you may be given the option to pay for the uncovered repairs if you so desire.

Why does my plan read "Under $1,500"

Some warranties carry a dollar value on them. This means that your product’s purchase price, excluding tax, delivery and accessories is below the listed price on the warranty. It’s simply a classification based on the purchase price of the product under warranty.

Can I hire a company near me to perform repairs and send you the bill?

We’re sorry, but any repairs to your unit must be pre-approved by CPS prior to work being performed. We do not accept invoices for work performed without our pre-authorization.

Do I get a loaner unit while my product is being serviced?

We’re sorry, but we do not offer loaner units while your unit is being serviced.
